You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
Some people are like slinkies; they're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
Looks like a pretty rough bike to start on, pretty heavy if you start to go down since you can't touch the ground and all. Hopefully you liked the KTM for when you buy one, that's what I race and love them. Glad you had fun!
Yeah, we were talking about getting the new R6....Have definitely changed our minds!!!
I am not sure if I want a 125 or a 250....two stroke of course. Have to do some research but I see two big bikes in the very near future. Mike wants the YZ250F....not sure about me yet. Whatever I go with has to have the potential for motard....as that is what we are really into.
I got to ride a friends KX250 yesterday too...LOVED IT!!! As wierd as it may seem, I felt way more comfy on that then the KTM....probably because I am so much more tuned to the two stroke...I "know" what to not expect. The consistency of the four strokes just throws me for a loop....
Jake~Yeah we got video 'n stuff....I'll get things figured out later....It was one big mud soup pile which is why we were on the flats...the track was tough to ride...we did get some jumps in! I only jumped the TTR though, I wasn't ready to try the big bikes over the jumps...
Here's Mos~the owner of the ktm~ and his helmet cam of the track....right click and save as please~private server. http://myfilez.net/uploads/videos/Dirty_Work.wmv
I was just geeked to have the courage to try the big bikes!!!

Do I need to remind that someone has a RM 250 for sale?

Damn, I love riding in the mud!! Sounds like once again I missed out on a good time. I look forward to watching the vid.

Right on BB!~ I like 2 strokes better too, there a lot lighter for one and well the power is just so dam addictive! A 125 will be more like your YZ, a little soft down low but rev it and OMG!
A 250 will be a eye opener all the time. Definatly try as many out as you possibly can. If you can try to ride a Honda. There bikes are really good. IMO just a notch above the rest, but its a matter of what fits you the best.
Yep, +1 on the two-stokes, especially for play riding. I love my KTM 125, my baby. That thing is just so much fun to ride, fun to beat the four strokes out on the track too... Plus if you don't like the smell of premix or a two stroke at full song then you just ain't right!
