hmm ive got a delimma i like my ttr that i just aquired and have been looking into doin the upgrades so i can race and jump it in on a mini sx track we have in town but looking just at bbr's products its goin to cost me 1,900 bucks and that doesnt include the things they dont offer or my new gear so ive been toying with the ideal of taking the ttr to the dealer and trading it on a cr 125 or 250 cuz for the same money i can get a full on dirt bike and do the big tracks and jumps i love and even do some fmx while im at it so what do you guys recomend ttr and upgrades or trade in the ttr and get a full size bike
ya i know wreckless but ill talk to you about that when i talk to you next and think im goin to go for the bigger bike it seems like a more sensible thing to do instead of spending all the money just to be able to ride mini tracks

Man dont get a CR250 unless you got a good measure of experience, that bike is as nasty as any sportbike around..... dont let the 250cc get to ya its a 250 with the balls of a 600+ cc sportbike easy..... stick to the 125 and go from there. Ride a 125 it will scare the living crap outta ya if ya aint rode one I gaurantee it
A modern 125 has a easy 30-35 hp and weighs just a hair over 200lbs.... there faster than all hell....
If you want to ride on an sx track, get rid of the TTR. It's an entry level trail bike and will never be suited for that type of riding. Maybe you've seen one at the track, but I've seen dirt bikes on the freeway too.
thanks bc but basicly to get the ttr to be competitive in mini mx i would have to swap out everything all i would need to build a stock ttr afterwards would be motor and frame hmm then i would have 2 bikes damn it there i go thinking again lol im goin for a bigger bike as soon as i can either reckless's cr 250 or a 125 but not sure what brand
If it were me, I'd SELL the TTR (not fond of trading in) and buy something else.
I'm not sure what your class spec is in mini mx. How big of a bike do they allow? I've ridden a KX80 before, and that thing was fun as hell. I'm 6'0" and was about 170 at the time, and I could definately see that little 80 kicking my ass if I didn't respect it. A friend of mine had it, and drag raced me on my old 250 4 stroke trail bike. I caught him on top end, but he smoked me in accleration.
ya im not goin to put that much into a ttr ill buy a honda first and my first plan was to mini mx but when i saw the cost of just suspension up grades (no motor mods yet) i was like screw this im goin back to regular bikes and a full size track but they allow us here up to 150 cc's and ive got friends on fiddys that walk on my ttr
Unfortently there is no mini four strike that is a true MX bike. So if you want a mini fourstoke that is has the suspension to make MX or SX more fun, you will have to stick money into it. Here is a tricked out TTR.
