Talking

Not too many in the comp, most are in shoe boxes hidden away around here.... I used to be a photo journalist for a couple of local papers and racing magazines so I got literally thousands of pics... so many it would take months to sort through em! So I scan a few in now and then when I happen across em. I only recently got a decent scanner (I found in the trash )

2 shots from a place friends and I made a trail up to ride at called Moon Crater we would ride there every day after school. It was way up on the ridge. The valley is where my house is. That jump took us several weeks to make the dirt up there is hard as hell. That place was awesome to ride at! The developers found our trail and today its the most expensive real estate on the planet..... called Hawaii Loa Ridge a acre lot is over 1 mil !!

The sand pics are about 1/4 mile from my house where we camp out alot. You can see a shovel in the back we used to dig a big pit with a hump to jump the pit LOL that wasnt a good idea.... one guy went too slow and ended up in the pit getting the 3 wheeler out took all of us to pick it up! The pit was about 5 feet deep

Thats me going over the mini pit LOL Its hard digging in the blazing sun....

In the top pic that big hump in the back is Koko Head a dormant volcanoe a block from my house.

it may not ruin anything right away, but it definitly speeds up the process. Unless you repack or replace all your bearing regularly, aviod using a pressure washer..

That being said,, using a pressure washer to get it real clean right before you pull and repack or replace the wheel, linkage, swingarm, and/or steering head bearings helps keep from having dirt or sand around that can get into the bearing while you have them apart.

Presure washing has always worked for me. But then again I do upkeep my bike so I really dont worry about it ruining the bearings cause they are to be replace regularly anyways. I spray simple green on the bike and then presure wash away. After its all dry I soak the whole bike except the seat down with WD-40. It keeps the mud and dirt from sticking to the bike as bad and makes for an easier wash.

ok wd 40 from what i know is a degreaser not a lubricant why does everyone use it on the bikes instead of silicone and chain lube
