Solid Lava rock and your correct, its the best tire shredder ever made. It's a 2 day race, somewhat like the ISDE type of racing they had in Europe. The bikes are tagged and all parts marked, only thing that you can change on the break is tires since the majority of them are flat or gone when they make the checkpoint!

The course they run on had to be "hammered" down with sledge hammers in many places just to get it to a rideable surface!

Definatly not something you want to fall off on.... if you do your chances of survival are nil. A few guys have died testing it out

Shits like a cheese grater on a grand scale..... Really hard on wheels too

One year Phil came in to the hiltop check on the front HUB he's super hard on wheels normally. That race is a given the bike will need 2 talon/takasago combos afterwards....
