Sheesh that sounds dangerous- for everyone at the event. What's the term I hear whenever I go to an AMA event? "Motorcycle racing is inherently dangerous for both spectators and participants..." or something equivalent to that. Most seem to forget that. Very sad story.

BTW, that does look like a pretty sweet site.

Dam 2 times today I hit the darn "edit" button and spammed a users post (your's n BB's posts gaaaaa)

Least I realized it and fixed my goof....

Back to the topic LOLz......

Yup. That type of racing is particulary deadly. IMO it's even worse than Isle of Mann...

Mixing cars that are blinding fast with bikes is a bad thing period. Then mix em on a torturous long multi day event with open roads.... thats a disaster looking for a place to happen!

The kids were in a team "caravan" Aussie for support truck. Musta crashed and the kids prolly wernt strapped in...

If I recall the Teams Race the Support trucks too. I remember Mercedes having a horrific crash in one of there fully equipped support trucks (huge like 2 duce n a half military truck size multi axel long travel suspension mondo diesel engine powered) with a machine shop, generator, welders the works) a few years back flipping it at speed (close to 100mph) end for end... Major Crash. Truck came apart scattering peeps and parts for half a mile almost...

I don't know if I would want to participate in that type of competition-although I know the mentality of wanting to race anything with wheels. Still, my God. The Isle of Mann race scares the hell out of me too... I just have never felt comfortable going fast where I wasn't supposed to be- and public roads (properly blocked for special racing) just scares me. I've never been able to haul ass on a MX bike if it wasn't on a track or big open field, etc. I don't think I'll ever want to try to go balls to the wall on the road either... only on a track.

Damn, all this gives me cold chills just thinkin' about it.
Don't worry I'm just a big of spaz, probably worse, than you with computers...
