Who Commutes?
Who here commutes on their bike? I used to be the hop on the bike in morning if I felt like it type. Now I'm on the bike everyday. By necessity. Works better than coffee I tells ya'.

Yeah, I'm doing less than 10 miles myself. In a few months my commute will be about four blocks. I'll walk it then I guess.

As a consultant, my "commute" varies depending on where my client(s) are that day, But I ride every day that I don't work at home, except about once a month or so I have some equipment to transport or something like that, so I borrow my wife's older car. (Even then I usually really could take the bike, but some of the customers get nervous if I propose to bungee $25,000 worth of their equipment to my bike.) Most of my clients are about 15-20 miles from home.

Usually ride a motorcycle or bicycle since it's only a 6 mile round trip.

I commute to work everyday except when there are severe thunderstorms. As you may know it really rains down here in Houston at times. I kind of chuckle at the guys that don't want to brave the light shower.
38mi. round trip 4 times a week. Racking up that mileage. And at about 50mpg thats not so bad either.
