I'm asking Kelly Blue Book value for a bike that's worth so much more then that. If a past bent handlebar and beer tray is a concern then the super low price that I'm asking for a beautiful bike should certainly compensate.
Kelly Blue Book retail or trade-in? Anyone who pays 'retail' in a private-party sale is paying too much. It's not "worth more than that"; it's been down. The fact that it's been down automatically downgrades the bike, in my book.
Aren't you the little bitch who was raising a stink on the DML about a class-action lawsuit against Ducati due to the S2R1000? If that was you, you whine more than a Puerto Rican housewife with her 5th bun in the oven. (No offense to Puerto Ricans, housewives, Puerto Rican housewives, or anyone with a 'bun in the oven'.)

No, I remember you (especially after that idiotic rambling bullshit post). The reason you can't sell a vehicle "without losing your nuts" is DEPRECIATION, not the notion that people want to pay the lowest price possible.
The whole idea of people not knowing about the bent handlebars and fucked up beer tray is spurious. If (and I say 'if', cause I doubt you are) you are a responsible seller, and an ethical businessman, these types of things are disclosed voluntarily.
You can ask whatever price you want, and someone will probably pay it. You, as the seller, are motivated to sell for the highest price possible; much like the buyer is motivated to part with as little of his, or her, cash as possible. A successful sale results when both parties meet in the middle. Usually, if I'm shopping for a bike, I'll see what others are selling for, in the same class. If other bikes like yours are selling for $8k, then great. If not, you might be holding onto it for a while.
The fact that you're a fucking idiot has no bearing on the sale-ability of your bike. But, people should know it has been down.
