Yeah, i did that for a while. It does sound good. I just recently emptied out my cans and put them back on. They arent even cored, they are completely empty shells. They resonate really well, i thinkim going to get fiberglass heat shield and high temp silicone glue and line the inside of the cans so the sound is less tinny though.

i'm assuming you mean the CB750 and not the Trail90.
right now she is waiting to be repainted (automotive quality paint in a rattle can my ass!!!!)
then hopefully a dual disk front brake system, probably a top-end rebuild (it had 45,000 miles on the bike when i bought it), and maybe a full fairing
Once i get my site up and running i'll have the whole story of the build in there

here's how she started:
i picked her up for $450 cause the kid laid it down, chewed up the left engine cover, and couldn't figure out how it went back together (he even had all the replacement parts). some gasket sealer, oil, and 10 minutes later i had her running
