What do you tell pakhan's woman when she has 2 black eyes?
Nothing. She's already been told twice.

Is this philosophy the reason for your current situation?

That was what I thought. You don't get the treatment Pakhan got (and I get) with rough handling.

Hi. My name is sarcasm. I am mostly known as a joke and not meant to be taken seriously. Let me introduce you to myself...
Actually, I am too nice. I get walked on alot because I just can't say no to doing nice things for people. I have alienated my family because I got tired of always being the only one that was there for them. Currently my brother owes me around $20k helping him with legal fees in his custody battle. But I have yet to see a dime of it...even though he sent the family pictures of his new Cadillac.
My grandparents recieved a free $45k basement, kitchen, bathrooms, landscaping remodel because noone else was taking the time to help them maintain their house.
I have a hard time saying no to people. I love helping people out but it usually ends with me getting walked all over as is the case in my current and failing relationship. For the 3 years before this relationship, I focused 100% on myself. I refused to do any serious dating and any time anyone asked me for something, I found someway of putting them off without offending them. Then one night, it struck home. I was sitting at the bar with a couple of friends and picked up the bartender. And attractive 30 year old mother of 1 who was working this second job to pay for a house. She had her head on straight and we had talked for a long time before finally, she agreed we should go back to her place.
We got there and talked until 6:30 in the morning. We both called in to work and spent the day doing some fun stuff together. Both of us knew it was a 1 night or day in this case stand so it was alot of fun.
When I was getting ready to leave, she said to me, "You are a great guy and I had alot of fun. Everything was great but I couldn't even imagine being with a nice guy for very long."
Anyway, fact of the matter is, yes, people walk all over me. But guess who those same people call when they are in trouble? Yup. Me. I am also the same person who hands some girl I have never met before a $100 bill in the checkout line at Walmart because she has a cart load of baby food and diapers but didn't have enough money to cover all of it.
I would rather be remebered as the guy who was always there for people he didn't even know rather than the asshole who you could never count on.

She slapped you because you didn't wake her up to enjoy it, too.
Listen to Tom Leykis...trust me.

family, friends, women won't remember you as "the guy that was there for people". You will be remembered as "the guy that I can use".
You can be there for people, still be a nice guy, giving, and understanding but still maintain pride, dignity, self and strength. You are being taken advantage of, and you help people do it. Take an assertive training course, I think you need it. You have nothing to lose taking a course except some time and money, which your willing to use to try to help some stranger and loved ones, like that lady that can't afford baby food and diapers. Try spending that $100 on yourself next time to help yourself. I'm not joking with you or screwing with you, just my .02 that I think could help you. I'm sure you've heard it all before though.
Now, since you say can't say "no".
Give me your motorcycles at no cost to borrow indefinitely <in my best hypnotist's voice>. Now I am screwing with you.
Or am I <in my best hypnotist's voice>
