Nice.

Hell of an upgrade from the 750.

Thumbs up

she's a bute! i am goona have to get one to keep my 1k company now;)

i guess you should be careful with the break-in, if you follow the 3-6k rpm like Mr. Ducati says you need long rides to fight off the moisture from that cat. post some shots if you get the full system and bypass the cow udder.

Cheers,

El Fookman

The bike is a 2004, purchased in 2005 by the previous owner.

It only had 1380 miles when I bought it.

The front brakes have some slippage in them right now, not really sure what is causing that. I inspected the pads on delivery, but tonight they slip some, I dont really know why.

Motogpfan will be here this weekend, so I will get his expertise on the issue.

Yes sir.

This is my 4th bike.

I started on a 1973 Honda 350, then bought a 1995 Yamaha Secca 600 and rode the snot out of that bike for about 8k miles, then bought my 750, rode that for about 7k miles, and now own the S4R.

I am keeping the 750.

It will be The KA's to ride

I can't figure out this brake issue.

It is a bit of a vibration and feels like the rotor is slipping a bit.

It happens on very light braking, like in parking lot or jacking around in traffic.

Fluid = fine
pads = fine

I am a bit confused

Could it be that the pads weren't bedded properly? I've never gone through that procedure so, I'm just guessing.

You seem to be making weird comments about "getting lucky"

I noticed that, too. You might want to install a lock on your bedroom door and be wary if he's cooking breakfast in a banana hammock Saturday morning!
