Agreed (except the hippie part).
But whoever it was initially didn't say "less practical"; he said "not practical". I fully agree that cars are more practical (assuming you live in a place wealthy enough) for most people, and especially if you have kids, real seasons, etc. But that doesn't mean a bike *can't* be, or just "isn't", practical for regular transportation needs.

I think you may have to give and take here. Go to this poll thing, then leave early. This way everyone gets to do what they want.

Warp speed, and the stealth mode we were in.
Thanks for the use of the Tiffers Suite. You must be sick of me crashing at your place by now.

I really want to know who designs the traffic light patterns and lane configurations in Dublin, Ohio. They are a bunch of fucking idiots and should be beaten with wooden spoons.
Here is the problem:
The main road 33/161 is right by my work. You access I-270 (outterbelt) from this road. So I come out of work (big complex of several buildings) and everyone wants to make a left turn to get to 270.
Well, double turn lane, but everyone is in the "outside" of the two lanes because the North onramp is on the right. This line is seriously about a mile long to make a left, but the "inside" turn lane is vacant. It is so gay.
Ok, so coming the other way (from my residence) used to be a right turn lane, straight lane, left turn/straight, and a left turn only. Well, at 5p the right turn lane is about a mile long getting onto 161 to access 270 (note: 270 north ramp is on the right). Well, they re-configured the fucking lanes yesterday to 2 right turn lanes, 1 straight/left turn lane, and left turn only.
fucking hell, so now everyone is in the far right turn lane and nobody is in the "outside" right turn lane.
And now the fucking straight lane is long as fuck and is a short fucking light.
Once again, these traffic engineers are fucking idiots.
GAWD!

Wow thanks for making Dublin OH sound like such a cool place. I cant wait to move there.
And you dont want to go to Buca? Why when it is so cheap. Our bill was about $75 for two beers.
