It depends. Guiness or a local amber.
I don't know what hippies drink; probably PBR.

He's the only Duc guy in Boulder.
The shop in Denver (Erico Motorsports) is $120, I believe. Might be $140. So not quite 2x. They're also a shitty service shop. Wine and latte crowd. Their byline is "Exciting, Exotic, European."
They screwed me once on a voltage regulator issue so I'll never go back. The only other place is like 2 hours away.

fucking hell that is a rip off.
damn kalifornians driving up prices in Denver......
That motto is highly gay. The lady in the cube next to me asked what was so funny because I was laughing so hard.

I thought that was your criteria for your bromance partners. Figure you would fit right in.

It's all I got; I also like Black Butte Porter, brewed in Bend, Oregon.
Moose Drool? I think so; don't recall how it tasted. Seriously, we have so many microbrews out here I can't keep them all straight.

In my experience hippies drink, and brew, really good hoppy beer. The two hippie brewpubs in town here (Mountain Sun & Southern Sun) have fantastic beers for $2 a pint. Both places smell like armpit sweat and shit-stained hemp, but the beer is all 6%+ and cheap.
Hipsters drink PBR. It's not bad if you put a lemon in it. You can get a 30 rack around here for $9.99.
Moose Drool is from Montana. Big Sky Brewery. It's excellent... their summer seaonal beer is fucking great.

I guess Cherub beat me to it....
Yeah, it is from Montana.
I don't care for most microbrew's.
They are way too hoppy and give me awful headaches.
I had a micro brew at home (Mishawaka Brew Pub) called Triple Mule. I think it was around 13% alcohol, which at that point I think it is technically considered a wine?

I think it depends on how its made. I know there's barley wines and meads that are brewed similarly to beer, but have different ingredients and fermentation processes. I don't think ABV has anything to do with it. There are Belgium abbey beers that can be 20-30% ABV. Sam Adams made a beer called... I don't remember... but it was 29% ABV.

If it's got that much alcohol, I'd prefer liquor. Beer makes me fat; liquor doesn't (I think it's the carbonation, actually).
