Today's workout:
Outside, 3 sets:
Iron Cross - 90-seconds: From the center of the square, jump outside of the square each direction, returning to center after each jump.
Froggers - 1-minute: From a squat position, leap as high and as far as you can; repeat. I performed this on my driveway, which has an incline; two laps, it's not very long.
Jump rope for 2-minutes.
Headed inside for 3 sets of:
Greyhounds - 2-minutes: On hands and knees, extend opposite arm and leg; engages back, glutes & shoulders.
Ab Wheel - 90-seconds: Yeah, that thing your mom had in the 70's. I've found this a joyous departure from crunches. Start with full-body extension, and shortened it up as I tired, keeping my abs tight and working the whole time.
Shadowboxing - 3-minutes: Focusing mainly on form over speed working on combinations, throwing a knee or two.
Good stuff. Leaves you wanting to go longer, do more, and get better. I start wrestling & boxing next week.
