Default Maint Costs

I've heard from a lot of people ducs are expensive as far as maint goes. Is this true or not? What about getting new parts for it. Factory and aftermarket.

ride one, and if you still don't get it, well I'm sorry you'll never know what it's like..

to answear your question, I have 4 Ducs. two 2 valve and two 4 valve.
No more maintenance then any other bike. Try doing a valve adjustment on a I4 vs a Desmo system. Much easier and faster. You just have to know what you're doing.

1st 600 miles service for me was about $350, 6k miles service was $606 and some change including a new rear tire and turn signals bulbs.
Planning on doing the 12k myself. In my opinion reasonable prices.
