I have some maitenance issues, and I lack skills, tools and a covered location to work on a bike. I have a little oil leak on my left side case, right in front of the sprocket, I also need to replace my chain, belts, and I would like to learn how to do a valve job....... how much to teach/show a guy how do do such wonderfull things?

Joel, I'm not really set-up to do side work. Plus, I'm real busy for the next few months. I would have no problem lending a hand, or otherwise covering some of the basics, after this big project I'm working on is over. That said, I would need a location. John, on the other hand...

The bad news:
I lost a rod bearing on my S4 Foggy, and, as a result, a rod seized on the crankshaft.
The good news:
My original engine was a 916cc. And I found a low mile 996cc ST4s engine on eBay the same week I lost the original engine.
Direct swap
Lucky me, as the ST4s engine are rather scarce. So, I'm swapped in my SPS cams and corsa springs, set my squish to race specs, and the bike should rip.
I was thinking of spending the same money on head work soon anyway. You can tell I'm really bummed about all this...
So now, I am calling it an S4s Foggy...

This would be very easy to accomplish, assuming we didn't live 3 thousand some odd miles apart...
And I work for oyster shooters with vodka in them..
