I know. I do that on occasion. That's why I was laughing with you. Seriously, though, it's a good movie.

'Ong Bak', is probably what you are thinking of. I haven't seen it, but I'm going to now. This guy hands out flying elbows and knees like they are Happy Meals. As well, he sounds like a real down-to-earth person in an interview on the DVD.

I saw smoking aces. If you get a chance check this movie out.

Good story and a lot of fun. If you liked snatch it has a similar flavor. many bad guys trying for the same goal. cool characters and the story was one that isn't predictable.

also pivon does a great job looking like a pre-od drugy.

Bingo pretty good stunts in that one too! Involving a semi truck, and yes lots of flying (no wires attached) knees and elbows.
we need to move to Thailand and learn some of that muay thai

Yeah, I want to see that one. My wife thought the movie was awesome.

I've been telling myself that I'm going to take martial arts someday. I'd love to learn Muay Thai. BJJ would be cool, too.

I took BJJ for a while but I prefer to stay on my feet. Boxed for over 4 years in Italy and I still practice on my own, wish there was a good boxing gym around here.

Recently watched Ghost Rider good average comic book based movie no oscar winners there. Babel kind of weird lots of subtitles, keept switching between Marocco, Japan, Mexico and the US I kind of liked it, need to watch it again. The Prestige very good IMO. The Departed for the 4th time can't get enough.
Breach, and 300 are next.

I heard bad reviews on Ghostrider...probably rent it and then regret it. I hate Nick Cage.

The Prestige wasn't what I was expecting so, I didn't really like it. A good film, but darker than I was really expecting. Good twist at the end, though. I was expecting more of a film like The Illusionist.

Just watched Fight Club again, last night. It is so much more interesting the second time around.

Saw 'Stranger than Fiction' last weekend. I like Will Farrell, and he delivers here, in a serious roll. Great cast. Yes, I have a sensitive side.

I also watched 'The Marine', with John Cena of the WWE. If you grew up on badass '80's action flicks, like I did, you'll love this movie. If you have any self-esteem issues around the size of your biceps and/or pecs, do not rent this movie. John Cena is a frickin' animal. I thought the movie delivered for what it was: a good ol' American kickass action film. Good guy wins in the end, saves his girl; bad dudes are toasted. Kelly Carlson is hot in this film (and probably walking around wrapped in 50# of burlap; you just can't hide her level of hotness).

Did we have a discussion about the new James Bond flick on this forum? Anyway, I saw 'Casino Royale' this week. As an action movie, it was fair. As a James Bond movie, it sucked. First off, the accountant bitch (Eva Green) needs to understand that she is in the presence of James Fucking Bond. Bond is an icon. Bond typifies class, verve, elan, style, and being a badass while displaying class, verve, elan, and style. He doesn't need some bean counter telling him how to dress (reference scene where she buys him a tux and says she, "needs him to look like he belongs at the table..." for the poker game at the Casino Royale. Second, Bond saves the day. Always. James Bond doesn't get strapped to a chair naked and have his junk beaten to the size and color of a utility ball...it just doesn't happen. And then he gets saved and someone else kills the bad guy? No. Sorry. My wife summed it up perfectly when she said, " that was a movie about a bunch of people. It was supposed to be a movie about James Bond." How true.

And here's another thing: Eva Green, when you get poured into a superhot dress, and then the camera pans to your ass walking across a room, DON'T WEAR UNDERWEAR! Or, at the very least, where a g-string, not the granny-panties you were wearing. It was so f'ing obvious; granted, I have doctorate in the female ass.

I'm out.
