Default Convalesecent Leave

How many days of convalescent leave have you managed to rack up? The trade off is usually a period of not being able to ride for a while (6 months for me so far), but it's nice to have a desk job for a while

So far I'm up to 72 days after this second knee surgery. Next week is my last week to ride for months! Thank God for beer and vicodin.

2 weeks after I had my thumb ligament repaired...and even then, when I got back, they still had me doing the same job before, and I had to learn how to write with my left hand....fucking assholes.

to the surface fleet. That's a great way to wind up with a major effed up something or other, going back to work when you should be resting or concentrating on physical therapy. At least the VA hooks you up big time afterward.

I got five days when I had PRK surgery. Had to come back to work with fuzzy eyes for a little while.

side note: if you are going to be drinking beer, ask for vicoprofin. the tylenol in the vicodin destroys your liver along side the beer.

okay, back to your regular scheduled talking.

I'm trying to pickle my liver and save it for later, not destroy it
