Anybody here due up to transfer? Have any questions about your next/prospective duty stations? Good or bad reviews of past duty stations?
I am due to transfer on 9 October, going to NAS Pensacola for 3 years, man i love that place, it will be my 3rd time down there. I have been stuck in the north since 2002 and I hate the cold, Maine for 4 years and Illinois for almost 2 years, HELLO year round riding .

mayport wasn't listed on the BRAC as being negatively affected. they are listed as "Gain." along with mayport, NAS Jax was listed also as "Gain."
hopefully it'll be around for awhile.

I few into rota once, nice place, tried to get orders to the navcom there but they wouldn't pcs me from the Lincoln. Ended up in S.D.. I work with a couple of the P-3's out of brunswick and Jax at the TSC that I am at. Great duty if you are an ET. only 2 enlisted and 1 LT, we demanned about a month after I arrived. Ordie, that MN1 you know, is she dive certified, just wondering about that aspect of it. And you can keep great mistakes, spent over 2 years there going to my schools and hated every second of it.
i'm an AT, the surface navy can keep great mistakes, did my time, MTS, getting out of here, quick fast and in a hurry. back to the air side where i belong
