this picture is very impressive.

the pilot (pennsylvania natl guardsman) parked the ass end of this ch47 on a shack and hovered there while wounded soldiers were being loaded aboard in afghanistan.

kudos to the pilot. he's got balls and mad skillz.

A while ago I saw that first pic and I don't know how true it is, but the story to go along with it was that the pilot was a reservist, which to me is even more impressive.

Most of the Reserve/Guard guys are very senior aviators, and many also fly civilian for their "day" jobs.

Definitly, espically in pitching 30ft seas
