From what I have read on the forums YOU must take the Military class
nothing else is acceptable

As far as I know as long as you have a MSF course that is all you need to get your bike registered. You do need to have motorcycle on your liscense. The best person to ask would be the base ground safety office. They can give you all the requirements for being allowed to ride on base. I know each base does things a little different but anything they do has to abide by AFI 91-207 and applicable DoD regulations.

divine, what base are you trying to get on to?

If you are trying to get Army you have to go through the Schofield course, UNLESS you took the LCC class before Jan 2005. If you took it before then you should be good.

The Navy, last i checked was as long as you had a saftey course completed you were good.

Hickman has some different rules, you can't have anything over 600cc for the first year as well as they are very strict on PPE.

Gotcha, you'd have to check with the local pass and ID office then.

You will need:

1. MSF course certificate (you already have that)
2. motorcycle drivers liscense
3. motorcycle registration
3. motorcycle insurance

It does not matter if you took the MSF course on or off post. The only differance is that the on post course if free, while the off post course is not free.
