Default How do you feel about females in the military

Not to offend any of you females out there but i would like to know... i have had very bad experiences with females in the military, everytime we get one attached to us its a mere matter of days before there is some problem and we end up short a body or two. It keeps adding up and ends up effecting our unit performance ability and somebody else has to pick up the slack

Sounds like a leadership issue?

That falls in the same issue as Firemen with me, if you want to be able to do either you should be able to pass standard tests, male or female you can't cut it you shouldn't be there. I don't believe in making tests easier just cause your female, I believe they do that for fire WOMEN in Canada.

And no its not a leadership issue... 7 females popping up pregnant..... and we had a prego test at 1 month before we left and then 1 week..... and all the problems we ever have are medical issues..... that most males usually tough out...i mean dont get me wrong ive met my fare share of lazy males that try that crap.... but then again we get told to get a straw and a bottle and suck i it the F*** up. where as most people wont tell a female that.

May not be a leadership issue, just speculating.

The pregnant part I can believe. After PCS'ing from Korea to Ft. Carson at the start of OIF I, Rear D had half a company element that was pregnant. Their formation had to be an extended rectangular formation just so they wouldn't knock someone over.

I was glad to get the f* away from them. Half pregnant the other half getting chaptered. Great combination there.

I'm more against then for women in the military.

Unfortantely there is more of a majority of bad females who give the few good females a bad name.

For example. On my second cruise we had about 60 females, never had one issue or problem with them. We get back from cruise, our numbers go from 60 to 300 females. It all went to shit from there. Most were fresh out of boot camp, not used to getting the attention they got back home and took advantage of it. We had numerous all-hands working partys moving stores for 12 to 15hrs a day, all the women were gone within the first 4hrs because they were "tired"

I lost count the amount of times we were doing Main Space fire drills in full fire fighting ensembles and we had to stop because they couldn't do it. Well tell me this, what are you going to do when we're a thousand miles away from land and the ship is burning and I have to rely on YOU to save me...
