Leaving Charleston Aug. 13th and reporting to the USS Enterprise in mid-Sept. Can't say I'm too excited about reporting to a boat thats underway, but I'll try and make the best of it. Good thing is when I report, I'll have just over 2 years so I'm eligible to re-enlist in a tax free zone and keep Uncle Sam from taking my $$$. Word is she'll be going on her world cruise and then get de-commed in 2010, so that sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

You're a Nuke too? Do you all still have the high SRB multiple and the cap at 65k?

Yeah, the ET's get hooked up and max out at 65k. Surface ELT's kind of get the shaft and only get 32k which I'm not too happy about, but thats still too much money for me to say no.

had a friend on the big E, he wasn't a big fan. but the friendships and port calls made it worth while for him.
