Default Army riders?

Here on Okinawa all Army personnel are required to take the base MSF course @ Kadena AB every 6 months. This just started a few weeks ago. Is that Army wide, or just on Okinawa?

I've taken it when I pcsed to a new base, and that was it. Anyone hear anything different? It's probably a Command Decision.

Yeah, I have never heard of having to renew it every 6 months? That seems a bit extreme?
