Alot of people in the military who are not US citizen's. Just go to a recruiter and talk with them.

A guy (Spc. in the Army) I (slacker E-5 in AF Reserve) attended BMET school with was a Mexican citizen (been here all his life). I always made fun of him--willing to die for somebody else's country. If somebody does 4 years in the military they should automatically become a citizen in my biased opinion.
Saw a lot of Phillipino citizens in the Navy--Those bitches know how to cook!!!
Here's the 411--Enlistment into the U.S. Navy, or any branch of the U.S. military, by citizens of countries other than the United States is limited to those foreign nationals who are legally residing in the United States and possess an Immigration and Naturalization Service Alien Registration Card (INS Form I-151/551 — commonly known as a "Green Card"). Applicants must be between 17 and 35; meet the mental, moral, and physical standards for enlistment; and must speak, read and write English fluently.

after a 4 year term with NO incedents you will be granted your dual citizenship (I beleive) but... You will never qualify for over a secret clearance, which is the standard.
This is just what I put togather from what I heard over the years

Good info. And you are the Blue ribbion winner. The Immigration and Naturalization Service Alien Registration Card (INS Form I-151/551 — commonly known as a "Green Card") must be in possession and also a I-94 card.

You could, but you will never have a clearance of any type.

Now I'm not into bashing other braches of serve but what pretell can the Air Force give him besides service to his country???? If he just wants to be a part of the military coodoes to him. I don't want this to go in the wrong direction but seriously, being in the MC may have some traditional value to him.

Not exactly what I was expecting....but Ill stop ranting now....but I still enjoyed 2 outta 4 1/4 years so I would have still enlisted
