Got a question
The news reported that we (Americans) bombed a building in Pakastan and killed 17 civilians. The C.I.A. ordered the attack cause they thought that 2nd in charge of Bin Laden terrorist org was there. It is still unknown if 2nd in cmd was in the building at the time. My question is do we consider this collatorial damage or do you guys think this will turn into a finger pointing session at the military? BTW, I'm just ready for our guys to get home, weather we continue to drop bombs on they ass or "the one big one". Please comment.

It will more than likely turn into a finger pointing fight. I am a member of 2 Mustang forums also and they discuse Iraq on one of them consisting of a "mature" crowd. I was asked my opinion b/c of my time spent here and I politely declined b/c nobody has all the info. It is always the same no matter what the military topic. You got us defending the job we have dedicated our lives to and our since of pride and duty and civilian naysayers that don't have a clue about military policy or the politics involved.
He was not there {DNA confirmed this}, and the pakistanis are already rioting. The UN has closed their offices in Pakistan. Did they do the right thing?? ABSOLUTLEY! There was no "collateral" damage, as all the pricks that died deserved it. At least it was quick, not like the poor civi's and soldiers have to deal with.
I suggest the US puts a loud speaker on every bomb, which says something like "Allah Allah Akbar!", but only in English--perhaps something like "Hey, look up here-FUCK YOU!" --then boom.

RugbyCanada ...what the hell are you talking about? We haven't even seen Canada in Iraq because they're so DAMN soft and moral. But you don't have a problem killing civilians including unknowing women and children. I served in Iraq and I will tell you most soldiers don't take pride when there is collateral damage. Yes it happens...but no most aren't thrilled about it. So it's not no different when it happens...I'm glad we killed some major players. Shit happens, that's the way it is at times but it's not a video game where innocents that die, just die. Get a grip, move to the US and join the military if you want to kill something. Maybe you'll get lucky, go over there and you can kill innocents for fun if you'd like.

What's Iraq got to do with Pakistan or a Canadians point of view? Is he a lesser person b/c his government isn't sending troops to Iraq? I recall working with several Canadians in Afghanistan in 2002 in the war on terror. Why don't you share you extensive knowledge about Canadian politics with us...I'd love to learn it from you.
The last thing I would want to do is be around anyone that the US military is looking/gunning for. If you get killed because you just happen to be standing next to a high ranking terrorist, so sorry. You should choose your friends more wisely.
