Default recruiters

I remember there were some recruiters on here. I have some questions about joining and stuff. If any of the recruiters could pm me that would be cool.

umm yeah military recruiters - this is the military forum...

but getting your questions answered by guys serving and not just recruiters would be my advice - cause recruiters are likely to glamourize rather than be truthful...(no offense intended) you'll hear a millon stories about "How my recruiter lied to me"

Post all your questions up and I will answer them honestly for you if I can... I woun't glorify the answeres or try to scare you off. Bad experienses are often the result of poor leadership and i have been on both sides.

Yea because the Air Force doesn't get deployed for extended periods of time to Iraq.

I don't understand. You bash the military every chance you get, then you tote the "I'm a former veteran" card. What gives?

I have one of those stories. I had a meeting with one. He avoided all of my questions and lied to me every chance he got. I didn't realize it until my Dad set me straight. Then he proceeded to get on the phone with the guy and chewed him out a new asshole. It was pretty funny listening to the recruiter on the other end: "ummmmmm..... ahhhhhh.... I'm sorry...". It's like, how can I trust one of these guys with my life when I can't even trust what they say?

Their deployments are no where near a year like the Army or the Marines. Air Force people I was around were there maybe 6 weeks, or maybe at the MOST 6 months.

Go Air Force!

Here's what gives: I was in formerly, which means I got out sometime... guess why I got out? Because it was a crock of bullshit.

Makes sense to me... I could see your argument if I was still in.

Thats like not liking dick, but still staying gay. Get my point?

+1 I had horrible leadership. Had an E-5 Sargeant who was in for 17 fucking years and was in charge of me? Now im out and make more money then my commander (0-3). Bunch of fags.
