haha NO, i don't. I think that's one of the reason why I have that fear of dropping it because of the bike being too high, AND there's no frame sliders. But that's one thing I am getting after lowering my bike. Frame sliders is a MUST.

1 being the worst and 10 being the most comfortable, I'd say it's 6 out of 10.

I'm on my toe. Like if you want to reach something high on the shelf and you have to tippy toe. That's how much. But I mean I can balance the bike and I can ride it without a problem. It's just that I don't feel 100% comfortable when I come to a stop. As a beginner rider, I am more aware of EVERYTHING that I do. So while I'm pulling in the cluth, pressing on the front AND back break, and shifting down the gears, I have to come and worry about putting my feet on the ground and keep my bike on the balance. It's just the matter of comfort level. That's all. I'm afraid I'd drop her at a stop.

Haha, I know. and I completely understand their point. But it is what it is. I already bought the bike and I am very excited to learn every single inch about it. :)

Theres really not a big difference besides the nose looking different, and I think a couple more horses.

However I prefer the 06-08 models myself, as I can't stand the sad puppy dog eyes of headlights on the newer ones LOL

Only one word describes the D675 man and that's AMAZING! I seriously couldn't be happier. It's treated me well so far.

They do have their common problem of the R/R going out, but that's a simple fix that takes about 30 minutes - hour depending on your mechanical and electrical abilities.

Plus, they are the best looking bike out there :) lol

The issue with this forum is that new riders should be this this and that and only do what they are told and when they have their own opinion ppl freak out. All th talk and when someone does get a 250 and get in an accident ppl are quick to point out all u did wrong regardless and the only positive is about the rider being ok and the bike noy being anything over than a 250. thats about it. ppl have to know you for awhile and by awhile i been months yrs or be hanging out buddies for the friendliness that gets advertised in this site. not everyone is like this but a majority. i kno wat u mean about only a couple ppl being helpful, for me it was Akumu and I-jo (on her good days and yes jo is a chick dont ever be fooled by how she talks).

what are things ur considering at the moment? what are you deciding factors and ur preferences.

I was thinking 600ss at first; I quickly switched to 250r. But I feel like I will outgrow the 250r fast, and I only got one chance to get a bike and stick with it for the next couple years since I wont be able to keep this much $ in my bank account much longer and starting school Sept. I won't be able to work as often and will take a LONG time to save up again for my next bike. But everyone says 250 250 250 250 without giving me adequate reason as to why a 650r will most definitely not be a good first bike. But if popular demand is to get a 250r, whatever. I asked for color since I had already chosen the bike, and people started freaking out saying I'm shallow and materialistic because apparently wanting a specific color and a newer design means I'm some kind of horrible person. I hate this forum really. Very unfriendly, VERY. I've only come across around three people who actually had something constructive to say without a condescending tone and some harsh words to discourage me...
