what is the difference in oil classes? se,sj,sf?

well im wondering what the difference in the oil classes are...
I went to the bike shop an they told me to just grab the honda gn4 motor oil which is a sj class... in my manual it says either se or sf class.
will this harm my bike
my bike is a 2007 250r kawi. an since the moron gave me the wrong filter im wondering if he told me the wrong oil (he gave me a filter for an outside mount not internal like the bike takes).
is this sj class safe for me to run in my bike?

just look for 4 stroke Motorcycle engine oil...

if you have over 1500miles or atleast 3 oil changes on your bike already, then you can do a swap for synthetic if you like.

But as long as its Motorcycle 4 Stroke engine oil, its fine.

and you can get oil alot cheaper from other places than the dealership...they rip you off big time.

Autozone sells moto oil I know, and Wal-Mart i believe sells it too.

thx, yah ill either be hitting up autozone. or maybe trying to find the good stuff online, an have it shipped in to me.
but after the parts guy gave me the totally wrong filter i definitely wont be going back there.
