Default removal of key start on 636

I have a 636 that I am going to race in the WERA National Challenge Series this year. Last season I raced a 2001 R6. On my R6 I removed the entire key start assembly so that I could start the bike with out it. I would like to do the same for my 636. Is this possible? On the R6 I rigged up a power cut near the battery and had the ignition perminantly soldered on. Is this possible with the 636, if so, which wires?

Just FYI the reason I like to setup my bike this way is becuase I have left my keys in the garage and then when to the track 500 miles away and had no way to race. Anyway. Any help would be great.

Any 636's come up missing in Atlanta, ^ 855m0n0 ^ DOESN'T have them.

Just FYI...
I don't think it's a good idea to be asking for or giving this information out publicly. If anyone has an answer, you might want to request that they PM you with it.

Just my $.02 worth.

Just FYI MOST race bikes are setup this way and WERA VIN checks all race bikes. They copy your VIN onto your tech form every race.

If someone steals a bike they could just go to a salvage yard and purchase an entire new key set, ignition, and gas cap for under $200.00. It would look less suspiscious anyway.

You're absolutely right. I was just jerking your chain.

I had an F2 race bike set up this way also. I just posted that reply because I wouldn't want to make it any easier for any thieves of opportunity.

Cool. In that case. . . please PM the way to do this rather than post it.
