Screwed by Credit Union!!

Either I never saw this section before or it is new?
How many people here from SE kansas?

Well, I am hoping to finally have a bike again after 13years! I am looking to try out the Hyosung GT250R because I really dig the look and the MPG as I commute 30-40 mins two and from work.
I would have already had the bike but my credit union decided to screw me over. They said I was 30days late on a payment of $1!!
Here's what happened:
I call the CU to get the bike loan and they tell me I'm a month behind on my car loan! We paid our car payment last month and the CU told us we need to pay a certain amount, come to find out they told us to pay our regular payment minus $1. So these assclowns decide to try and ruin my credit by reporting that I am 30days late on 1 freakin' dollar! I went down there and told them that was the biggest bunch of BS and they said they would remove it from my credit .Now I have to wait till early May till it is fixed. They then ask me if I still want the loan at 18% my credit score dropped 120points because of that $1 and that is what they were using to offer me the 18%!! I couldn't believe they even asked me!!
It really sucks.
So, hopefully I will be riding again in about a month!

Do they all post in the KC section? Just really wondering how many people we have from the SE part of the state like Wichita and surrounding towns?

I live about 20 minutes outside of Wichita myself. I don't see many people post here, but I do see some occasionally. That sucks about the credit union, hope that turns out ok for you. I had to struggle to get my first bike too, I understand what your going through. Good luck.

You know I have had tons of loans with these guys and this is the only thing that has ever been messed up. I will get the bike beginning of may so it's not bad, I just had planned on having it already. Oh well, it has be 13 years since my last bike so I guess another month is not that bad.

Newton here (well actually 10 miles south of there)really blows goats about the cu......one thing....on the hyosung's.I know they're cheap in price.........but they're not gettin that great of reviews....be careful , I know if I was gonna buy a smaller type bike like what you're lookin at , I'd prob. look real hard at one of the smaller jap bikes...simply for the quality factor and ease of parts availability...just my .02...good luck to ya whatever you decide.welcome back to the world of motorcycles
