Hello, my name is Ben.

I just bought my first bike. A 98 ninja 250 for 1200$.

In about two weeks I'm taking the MSF course, and hopefully getting my liscense shortly thereafter. I'm going to stock up on gear in the next couple weeks too.

I already have a helmet. Keeping my eyes out on kneedraggers for good deals on gloves,jackets,boots, and pants.

The bike came with a yoshimura exhaust already installed. It's pretty damn loud but it sounds great. Very smooth rumble.

I've ridden dirtbikes here and there and have most of the fundamentals down.
I look forward to sharing my riding experiences on the forum and reading about others' experiences as well

I scored some gloves today too.

Well, kinda.

I went to a martial arts class (krav maga, ever heard of it?) with my friend who had an f4i, and he said I could have his old gloves.

Our hands are about the same size.

(How do I know?)

Because I used his extra set of 4oz gloves tonight at the class.

So free gloves until I'm ready to buy new ones! Can't beat that.

Well. I ended up canceling that order because it was on backorder for far too long.

So I ended up getting a firstgear mesh jacket along with some riding pants from the same company.

Picking up some boots asap.

And hopefully a new helmet.

Changed my Brake pads (to ebc) and fluid. Much better.

Also getting a K+N drop in tomorrow, and an oil change.

Got some Gianni Falco R-star boots today. 75$ at the local shop.

Anybody know anything about these, any info? They seem pretty well made.
