I'm new to riding motorcycles and this will be my first bike. I bought a new 2007 Suzuki GS500F with 1 mile on it from my local dealer. There was only 3 left and I'm lucky to have gotten one of them. I'm going to motorcycle safety class next weekend, so that I can learn how to ride and with any luck will have my motorcycle endorsement the following week. I have gotten on the bike and rode it around in my apartment complex driveway in 1st gear a couple of times to get a feel for it. I know over time I'll probably get tired of it only being 500cc, but I bought it to learn on and use it to commute short distance to and from work.
My Gear: HJC Helmet, FirstGear Mesh Tex 3.0 Jacket and some Shift Stealth Hybrid Gloves also.

If you make toward knoxville, hit us up. We try to ride as much as we can. Bike nights tuesdays and thursdays and the dragon on weekends, but I don't think the dragon is ready to see you anytime soon. Good luck with learning to ride.
