Hey guys,

Never ridden, but am looking to learn/buy in the next couple of months. Any advice you have related to your first experiences on a bike would be appreciated. Especially from fellow female riders! Anyone with a 500cc for sale, check my WTB in the classifieds forum.

take your motorcycle safety course here before you buy anything...

near I-45 and Kuykendahl...

Hi Susie! I'm getting ready to get my first bike too! But I'm starting out with a 250 since I'm so small and short.
Although I know a little bit about riding, I'm still planning on taking the motorcycle safety course myself. One of the technical colleges here offer it and I believe they give a insurance discount after completing the course. That's the only advice that I can give you thus far since I'm just starting out too.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I do indeed plan on taking the MSF course for sure. Then comes the bike. I'll be on every once in a while with questions about tips/advice, etc, so thanks again for the welcome.
