ok im new to the forum and i dont have a bike yet...
i dont know what kind i want. i love the style of the zx-6r but i dont know alot about it. how does it compare to the gsxr-600 and the cbr-600rr??
i am inquiring about my first bike. i have riddin dirt bikes before but not sport bikes. which one would be good for a first time rider?

Welcome to SBN. Get what you want, but just remember. Sportbikes aren't dirtbikes. You have a lot more horsepower and torque and added weight on a sportbike than what you do on a dirt bike. It's a different world. I recommend starting small, not necessarily a 250, but hey, it's your life.

Welcome aboard. Be sure to check out the New Riders forum and read the stickies. There's tons of great information and advice for new sportbike riders out there.

As for your choice of bikes they are all fast as hell. I'm partial to the 636 (for obvious reasons) but they are all nice. Best bet is to sit on all of them and see which one feels the best to you. Just remember none of those bikes you listed are recommended for new street riders but whatever you do stay safe
