Hi guys. I normally don't post a "Hi! I'm new!" post or thread when I join a forum; but, since you already had a section dedicated, well, why not?

Anyway, I'm a fairly new rider. I've got a few hundred miles of time on rental bikes and friends' bikes. I recently purchase a Yamaha VZ6. I always wanted a motorcycle; and since my wife's family has been riding for generations I thought this year was a good time to start. I took my MSF course three months ago and have been doing well ever since.

I'm sure I'll have questions and comments at some point. However, I promise to use the search function before asking how to oil a chain or peform a dual headlight mod on the FZ6

Glad to hear that you already have the MSF course done and under your belt. Sounds like you're off to a good start.

Whats up people.....just joined the site and thought it appropriate that B4 my AARP meeting that i say hello and glad to catch up with other riders who enjoys the feelings/freedoms of our 2 wheel wonders. Loved bikes for many years as many do...and recently i just aquired my 2nd sport type bike after having owned and ridden a FZR600 for a few years. Now i finally have myself another Kaw after many years of not having one. A 02 ZZR1200 to be exact.
A lil bling...but not much...and a lil not much more bling to come, mixed with mechanical updates/Mods/reg maint. Again..hello to all from the SW area of Va.

Since it's your first street bike, please do a couple of things...
