Default Ever run the bike at the 1/4 mile?

I am just wondering what kind of times a stock 98-01 Honda interceptor will run? I know its not uber fast, but I have been told its more than decent.

Specs are saying its 11 seconds. I'm just wondering what the average rider will be able to accomplish? I just got my bikes kill switch wired, and am really thinking about taking the bike to the track.

It shouldn't be too hard to get a lower-ish 12 out of it although you'll have to get a good launch the first or second run as the clutch fades really fast, once it's cooled try again... Good luck. Supposed to be something like a 11.6 with a professional rider. This is all in regard to the 98-00 models, the 01-present are just a little slower with professional rider, supposedly. Probably due to the v-Tec sys. and a little less linear torque curve. Dont' really know from experience.

^^Yeah, the 5th gen is from 98-01. The Vtec models are from 02-09.

But I did a 12.9 here at a local dragstrip as my fastest. Not bad for a beginner.

Specs online for 6th gen are 11.4 in the 1/4 I believe. But at what elevation and driver experiance. But online specs are never right on. Top speed of 170 too.
