Im not looking for a step up quite yet even though I've been riding for a year. I was looking for a project bike. So I was searching craigslist and found this. I might consider garaging it and working on it, but is this a fair price for a 23k mile bike? I was looking to get a used 650R in a year when I get my first house, but I dunno if this would be worth the money/hassle.

How many miles are these things good for assuming it wasn't abused?

Thats not bad at all,those early VFR's are pretty bullet proof,not to mention they still look good after all this time.My 91 has 44K miles and still going strong,there are people that have put well over 100K without any problems,of course,this is dependant on good maintenance.Doesn't hurt to go have a look!

Nice bikes. My buddy has a 95 that he personally put 75K miles on. He says all he has done is oil changes and, tires and 2 2 sets of brake pads. He says it runs like the day he bought it.
