Default Who thinks it just doesn't have enough power?

I do like my VFR but i don't love it. I find myself wishing it had about 20% more power! I think i would LOVE it if it was a 1000cc bike.
I'm seriously considering boring it out and getting some hotter cams. Anyone else done engine work to make the bike get up and go better?

I want to love it,,,,its a great comfortable bike. But i find myself hopping on the F4i, even for long trips. The VFR was supposed to be my long trip bike.

I'm not for sure but I don't think you can simply bore the VFR out as it is sleeved so you'ld have to resleeve it. There is a kit that Dynomo Humm carries that is basically a big bore kit. I'm not sure of the current price but is was something like $1700 if I remember correctly, plus the install... Not sure of the punch it actually adds either... Good luck!
