Default any suggestions?

...i recently upgraded to a 98 VFR..and of course im really loving it, but i have noticed that my throttle hand is going numb after a relatively short time in the saddle..it happens every ride..i have to slap my hand against my thigh to get the normal feeling back..then repeat after it starts to tingle some more...funny thing is that the left hand is fine....has anyone else had this prob?..and if so what did u do to eliminate?...thanks!!!

Holding the throttle too tightly I'ld guess, I have the same problem on longer rides. I start to actually grip the throttle rather than rest my hand on it. It doesn't take much pressure to hold it so... I think I'm going to change grips to a Pro Grip gel grip to help with this but that's my best guess. My left hand very very seldom goes numb as I'm not trying to hold the bar really. It's just a matter of getting used to not having to hold the throttle like a guy usually does around town.
