Talking Does anyone visits this forum?

Hi Gang,

I just got my 05 Interceptor/VFR - Silver and I am loving it.

I used to ride a 05 FZ6 but I decided to change the look, feel and technology.

Now I am kind of dissappointed but in comparison with the FZ6 forums no one seems to really show up or write much on this specific/VFR forum.

Now, is everyone riding so they don't have time to write or no one cares to write anything.

Well I tend to visit this forum everynight and I would really like to share some thoughts, experiences, etc.

Hope to hear from anyone of you...

I am attaching some pics so you can drull over the "Silver Bullet"

Happy Easter!!!!

nice bike! I wanted the silver, but I had to settle for the black last year....

It's a great bike, you'll love it! I am just waiting to get rid of the 3 ft of snow we have so i can ride...

Greetings...I ride a 03 silver.

How do you like the scorpio alarm you installed? I was thinking about getting one too. Where did you mount yours?

Hi Gang,

Thank you for your responses...

With regards to the Scorpio I have to say that I like the features but I have had quite a bit of bad luck. So far and after two weeks (on this bike) I have had the MCM (Main Control Module) replaced once due to false alarms (shock/tilt), the ignition kill switch burned up/short and burned some of my wiring (very small portion at the connector site - scared the crap out of me!!!) and last but not least the remote control went caput. Now the only good thing is that the manufacturer - Aritronix, Ltd. www.aritronix.com has an excellent customer service but nonetheless it has been somewhat dissappointing.

My buddy and I R6-Andoni bought the same system at Motorsports of Ft Lauderdale and he has had as many problems as I did. Now if this was a bad batch of alarms or they were mistreated/handled at the retailer - who knows. The point is that I am kind of leary, scared and dissappointed but nonetheless is a great alarm system once you get it working.

Now, I had the same system on my FZ6 and it worked like a charm so you come to your own conclusion(s).

I installed it besides the battery under the frame (under the crotch area) there is a nice space but since I continue to have the occassional false alarm I might move it somewhere else close to the tail/tool bag. If you want I can take some pics of both installs. Also, the installation is very easy but buy the harness for your bike on which it should be HON-3 and if you install the ingnition kill/hijack system put it on by the fuse box located on the right hand side of the bike (if you are seating on the bike) in the front under the front brake lever.

I hope that this helps.

Ride Safe!!!!
