Hmmmmm, nearest Hyosung dealer is 61.8 miles from my house. New trackbike maybe?

Take a look at what's available at www.hyosungmotorsusa.com . I recommend using the Mozilla "Firefox" browser for this. My experience is that the site has issues with some versions of IE. They've even got a really sharp 650 cruiser, and frankly, I've never cared for them ('til now)!!!

Actually, much of the 250R and 650R is common to them both. Once I develop my skills to the point that I feel comfortable moving up, I think I'll move up to either the 650R or 650S (half-fairing w/higher bars). Both look to be great potential "sport-tourer" material. 737, what part of TN do you cover? I've got family around Cookeville! I've been thinking of riding down. If you're anywhere close, maybe we can go for a ride. Just remember, I'm a rookie (yeah I know, just what you need, another rookie right!). Cheers!
Be forewarned, I haven't a clue what the hell I'm doing. But, here goes....
I bet you could toss that thing like an anorexic midget!

Once the tire pressures were set properly (see earlier post), the bike has proven to be almost telepathic. I look where I want to go and there I am! (notice the influence of the MSF BRC) There's no concious thought of what I want it to do, it just does it, without hesitation. If anyone is interested in seeing some videos of the bikes in action, then check this out: http://mpgmotors.com/NuMotorcycle.html . Notice that in the GT 250R video he's only using about half revs, and isn't even giving it close to full throttle!!! The corporate video also has a primo "stoppie" (check out what he's stopping for, aawww!). Ya, gotta' love them South Korean roads!
the exhaust needs a little more grunt, but other than that its worth taking a look at.

I am wondering how the bike will handle the twisty stuff
I am not too far from Cookeville and will ride with ya anytime bro

I'm not too sure what their current status is, but in the past Hyosung has built bikes that were sold under the Suzuki brand. I do know that they currently supply components and sub-assemblies to the "big" names. If not "siblings", they're at least "cousins". In fact, the filter I picked up for my oil change is a Suzuki part! If the 650R and 650S are anything like the 250R, I'd say you'd be hard pressed to get a better "smiles-per-dollar" value. I've found myself going the "back way", no matter where I'm going, or how much further it is! Gawd knows, I get enough funny looks (more than usual, anyhow!) due to my ever-present grin whenever I go anywhere on my R. I must look like the proverbial "cat that swallowed the canary"!!! I'm thinking of riding down before the fall foliage goes off. I figure it should make for a spectacular ride, coming down US-127. I'll probably take it to Crossville and then across 70N, so I can stop at Alvin York's memorial on the way down. I'll give you a "holler" before I head down. Cheers, Robert P.S.: Go VOLS!!!
