Default 92 260 ninja ex fuel lines

hey, i have three fuel lines coming from my tank, two of which coming from a valve selector dealie. i went to kawasaki's website and found a diagram for the fuel evaporator system, but it only showed two fuel lines. when i suck on on of the lines on the dealie, fuel comes out of the other line, but when i hook that line up to any other port, no fuel comes out, indicating no vacuum. i would like to know how to hook up my fuel to get my bike running

erp, sorry, drank a lil. it's a 250, and the valve dealie's the petcock. the diagram on kawasaki's page does not show me what i'm looking at. please, does anyone know how the fuel lines run or what i'm talking about? maybe i can clarify a lil better. i know the thing'll run if i spray ether in the carb, i just can't figure out the fuel lines
