HOW TO: Apply Stompgrip Traction Pads ( no bubbles )

Seriously I have seen a lot of bubble filled, hastily applied traction pads that look like shit.

Step 1. Move your bike into the sun.

Step 2. Throw the traction pads onto the hot sidewalk and let them get nice and hot.

Step 3. Wash your bike. Scrub and clean that bitch. She needs it anyway. Then Dry.

Step 4. Let the bike keep heating up in the sun.

Step 5. Procure a tennis ball.

Step 6. Line up the placement of the pad.

Step 7. Peel off an inch or so of the backing and vigorously roll the tennis ball first between the bumps, then over them, then all over the place.

Step 8. Now that the placement of the pad has been set by that initial inch, carefully flip the traction pad over and grab that inch of backing paper.

Step 9. Slowly work your way, another 1/2 inch or so at a time going crazy with the tennis ball, paying very close attention to the edges as well.

Step 10. After the traction pad is applied, continue to run the tennis ball over the traction pad to set it even further.

Step 11. Let the bike sit in the sun. Let the pad dry for 24 hours or longer.

Done.
