2006 CBR1000RR Radiator Fan Inspection (CBR1000R #2)
The radiator on certain 2006 CBR1000RR units may
be damaged due to insufficient clearance with the
cooling fan. This could lead to coolant loss and/or
engine damage.
An inspection procedure and measuring tool have
been developed to determine if there is sufficient
clearance between the radiator and the cooling fan. If
necessary, a repair kit is now available to provide the
proper radiator-to-fan clearance.
