Default 05' Gsxr600 Problems

Well the STVA on my GSXR went out indefinitely. The bike won't rev past 10000. I looked up the code C28 and it said the Secondary throttle actuator went out. I took off the lid on the airbox and watched the butterflies on top of the throttle body and when I gave it gas the butterflies stayed close. So what I did was open up the butterflies and keep them stuck open. My question is what if any will be the consequences of doing this short term and long term any help would be greatly appreciated.
