Default Puig Windscreen

Hey guys I need a little help. I got a new windscreen for my bike and I cant figure out how to get the bottom screws in. It looks like I have to unscrew my tach and stuff to get back there. Is this the right way to do it?

everything should line up, just take the stock one off put the new one on. It should use the same screw holes as the stock

Yeah it still has the screw holes but the thing that you thread the screw into came off with the old screen. Now its just a screw hole.

Ah ha! I figured it out. I googled it and found a post on gixxer.com but some guy on there instructed to mess with the tach and remove the mirrors in order to get to the bottom 2 screws. I just went with the stock keeper nut/threader (I dont know what its called) but I figured it out. Hopefully no one needs me to explain it. Thanks for the help though silvr6
