Default Bent Handle bars?

Okay so I dropped my bike about a month ago, and the past few times ive been riding it feels like when I am going straight that my right hand it out further away from me than my left. Is it possible that my handle bars got bent went I dropped the bike?

If so how do I get it fixed? Mechanically im a noob so can a dealer do this pretty easily?

you can do it your self. just have the dealer order the parts and you can replace it with the tools that came with your bike. this is really easy to do. on a scale 1-10 1 being super easy
this is a #2.

and yes you prob. bent it. cheep fix though.

Ugh I still haven't changed to oil on it myself, perhaps I should just pay the dealer to do it?

Get the manual for your bike. Read it cover to cover. Oil changes and bar swaps are very easy on your bike. If you're really unsure get a friend that can turn a wrench to help.

^^+2 bar swaps are real easy ask a fellow rider if any in the area to give you a hand im pretty sure they would give you a hand over a couple of beers i had a friend of mine swap his own bars i was just there supervising he was done in about 1 1/2 hrs a dealer will kill you in labor charges for something like that

I would check for a bent front end first. The bars are probably not bent.

Well, the left handle bar comes in more at an angle towards me. Whereas, the right one point out further away from me more, so when I'm counter-steering I have much more control when I go left than when I go right.

I read a general guide for changing the handle bars on a bike, and I'm not too sure if I feel comfortable with it. I tried adjusting the clutch before and that ended up horribly wrong; I stripped the cable.

I think the safest bet would be for me to take it to a local bike mechanic until I quit being such a mechanical dumbass.

if you find a way to fuck up a bar change then you shoud just kill yourself because its stupid easy. i'll tell you lik ei tell my frined who dont know shit about being a mechanic, if you dont try it you'll never learn. everyone fucks shit up every now and then but thats how you learn. i bet next time you change a cable you wont make the same mistake as last time. just remember that experience = knoweldge.

Well that's somewhat inspiring. I just don't know where to drill the holes in the handlebars and what to do with the brake line while its not on the bars.

Can I do this with the bike just on the center stand?
