Default bike went down, now it wont start

Ok so my fiance and i were out riding and and as we were pulling into the back yard to get the bikes put up and as she was turning through the gate she put her 05 ninja 250 over on its left side. There was some gas dripping out of something as we got it back on it's wheels and as we got it into the "garage/workshop" we were inspecting it and decided to make sure it started. It still cranks but won't actually start and was wondering if anyone could throw some tips my way. Right now we're letting it sit on the "dual stand" and will try and re start it in a little bit.

Thanks for any help you can offer

G

PS, it was running as it went down and died as it was on its side.

Checked kill switch, checking wires now. I'm the one who dropped it. G's never going to let me live this down, especially if it needs repairs...

How long did you crank it over the float bowls may be empty.

We managed to get it going again- it was flooded. Held the throttle and cranked it for a while, then it caught and SCREAMED for a second. It runs just fine now. Thanks for all the suggestions.

check all fuses and check to see if you are getting spark to your plugs... if you are okay on both, you probably just flooded the carb... try starting fluid
