Default Major plastic repair questions - Honda CBR1000F

I've got an 88 honda CBR1000F that has been laid down. I've done some reading about how to fill in scratches and fix cracks, but I've got a slightly bigger problem - I need to replace a few tabs where bolts go through. I was hoping for some tips or ideas, preferably from experience, on how to do this and have it look decent. I plan on painting most of the plastics with spray paint until this winter, when I'm going to have a friend of mine prep and paint the bike correctly.

So could I use fiberglass? or should I get some extra plastic from another bike, heat it with a torch, bend it a little bit, cut it to shape, then weld it to the existing piece with a soldering iron? any help is greatly appreciated.

The EX250 Wiki has a pretty good write up on plastics repair. I've only done heat welding myself, but the write up goes into using molds for tab repair that should help you.

okay, thanks! I wish stuff like plastic repair would be under "plastic repair" and not under a certain bike's site/page.
