Default How to...adjust idle?

Please advise. I just got my bike back from being serviced and the engine idle is too high (currently at about 2,000 rpm - I think the factory setting is about 1,100 rpm). Is idle adjustment something simple that I could do with your advice? Or do I need to return it to the mechanic? Thank you.

this something u can do your self, it should be a screw somewhere near your carbs that lets u adjust your idle from high to low, on most suzuki's they are on the clutch side down by the carbs

Thanks a lot man, I was hoping it'd be something as simple as that. I'll try to adjust it tomorrow.

On the old carbs the idle adjust screw may be in between the carbs on bottom. Look for large 1/2" knob near the carbs. On new bikes it is a cable with large knob on end on the side of bike
